Emma Jean Butcher Cole
(February 12, 1931 - November 18, 2013)

Eastside Community resident and Warren County, TN native Emma Jean Butcher Cole, age 82, was born February 12, 1931 and died November 18, 2013 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN following a three-day illness.

A retired supervisor at Formfit Rogers and a member of the Pioneer Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Thurman and Bessie Whiteaker Butcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Debbie Studer; sister, Geneva Warren; two brothers, Alton and Rabon Butcher; and two brothers-in-law, James T. Crawford and Ray Warren.

She is survived by grandson, Paul Studer of Rock Island, TN; sister, Minnie Willene Crawford; brother and sister-in-law, Clinton and Irene Butcher; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in High's Chapel with David Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High's.
