Jim Barr, 84, passed away Wednesday November 13 at Lakepoint of Augusta. Celebration of his Life will be 10A.M. Thursday November 21st at the First Methodist Church. Visitation with family present will be 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home.

Jim was born February 20, 1929 at Winfield, KS the son of Walter and Mary (Kowing) Barr. He attended El Dorado schools. Jim was united in marriage to Betty Peak on February 20, 1948 in El Dorado, Kansas He was a member of the Elks and the NRA. He loved to read and collect antiques he also loved his two dogs. He was an avid coin collector.

Survivors include son Tom and wife Linda Barr of Racine, Wisconsin; granddaughter Holly and husband Nick Gabbey of Racine, Wisconsin; great grandchildren Tyler, Geneva and Avery Gabbey all of Racine, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by wife Betty, daughter Sheri and brother Gene.

A memorial has been established with the First Methodist Church.
