Mrs. Whitson was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on July 21, 1947 the daughter of Pauline (Coberly) and John Sherman Blair. She grew up and received her education in Bartlesville and graduated from College High School in 1965. She then studied accounting and business courses and worked at the employment office in Bartlesville. She was later active as a department manager in a retail sales store in Bartlesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Joyce Burris and Juanita Guthrie, and a daughter, Blynda Whitson.
Linda Jean Whitson, 66, of Bartlesville, died at 12:57 P.M. on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center.
Services for Mrs. Whitson will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, November 25, 2013 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with her son, Dr. Kenne Whitson of the Church of Christ in Garden City, Kansas officiating. Memorial services and cremation are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. (Stumpff)
