Carmen V. Sanders, age 49, died March 3, 2013 at Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, MO.
Born November 28, 1963 in Sikeston, Missouri; daughter of the late Ira and Mildred (Hooper) Shuffit, she was a member of First United Methodist Church and a Registered Pharmacist for Sterling Healthcare.
On December 10, 1989 she married Wendell Sanders; he survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Parker Sanders; one daughter, Sara Sanders; one sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte & Randy York; her father and mother-in-law, John & Vicky Sanders; one brother-in-law, Tim Sanders; two nieces and their husbands, Cara & Larry Fraizer and Brenna & Jeff Burnett; and two great nephews, Matthew Fraizer and Jordan Burnett.
Visitation and services were held at First United Methodist Church Family Life Center. The Rev. Geoff Posegate, pastor, officiated.
A private interment followed at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
