Slayton - Funeral was held here Thursday from St. Ann’s Church for Clifford J. Beach, 63, who died Monday at University of Minnesota Hospitals, Minneapolis. The Rev. Donald Zenk officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Beach was born Sept. 30, 1913 in Mason Township, the son of Jake and Nelda Morin Beach, growing up attending school there.
He and Elizabeth Ruppert were married June 18, 1934. She preceded him in death in 1956 and he and Roberta Prahm were married Nov. 5, 1966.
After farming for many years, he had worked for Rupp and Prahm construction firms.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Richard, Anoka; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Metz (Patricia), Truman, and Mrs. Don Muecke (Phyllis), Slayton, and 12 grandchildren.
He is also survived by one brother, Vurne, Slayton and four sisters, Mrs. Ted Ruppert and Mrs. Alvin Swenhaugen, Slayton; Mrs. Pricilla Deslauriers, Currie, and Mrs. Clifford Pommier, Montrose.
His parents, one brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
