ARNAUDVILLE - Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church for Theophile Carriere, 73, who died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday at Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas Burial is to be in St. Leo Cemetery in Leonville.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Bunice Mistric, Leonville, Mrs. Ray Carriere, Houston, Tex., and Mrs. George Oprea, Chalmette; seven step daughters, Mrs. Jerry Pellerin, Mrs. Lynn Robin, Mrs. Harris Olivier, Mrs. Harris Taylor, and Mrs. John 0. Stelly, all of Arnaudville, Mrs. Essie Dupuis, Breaux Bridge, and Mrs. Dolthy Hardy, Harahan, also surviving are four step-sons, Preston Olivier, Sunset, Leland Olivier, Russell Olivier and Dalton Olivier, all of Arnaudville; two brothers, Pierre Carriere, Leonville, Leo Paul Carriere, Port Arthur, Tex; three sisters, Mrs. O.J. Sarver, Port Arthur, Tex., Mrs. George Woodson, and Miss Anna Carriere, both of Arnaudville. Carriere is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 48 step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
