Jerry D. Brackett passed away at age 66, at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, CA. Mr Brackett was born in Harrison, AR. He was a resident of Turlock for more than 46 years. He attended schools in Ceres, graduating from Ceres High School. He also attended the carpenter apprentice program at Modesto Junior College. He was a carpenter by trade belonging to Local Union 25. He retired afater working for several years of employment with Acme Construction of Modesto. He belonged to NRA, Old Fishermen's Club and Modesto Ridge Runners Dune Buggy Club. He attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Turlock lst Ward.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to spend time at his Idaho home. Jerry enjoyed his dune buggy trips to Pismo Beach and Bridgeport, CA and Hawthorne, NV.

He is also survived by his wife, Penny Brackett, son Derrek Brackett and daughter, Marlene Brackett; three grandsons; two granddaughters; uncle, John C. Casey; brothers in laws Kevin, Kort and Kim Anderson, Jeffrey Roller and sister in law Lezlie Simmons.

He is preceded in death by his Daughter-Suzette Brackett, Mother-Helen Pauline (Casey) Brackett, Father-Chester Dean Brackett, Brother-Infant, Daughter-Suzette Brackett.
