Delphia E. Couch, 66, of Fosterburg, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1986, at her residence, after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Couch was a crew leader in the packing department at Owens-Illinois Glass Co., where she was employed 23 years, retiring in 1973. She was born in Fredericktown, Mo., daughter of the late Theodore and Eva (Williams) Inman.

On May 7, 1937, in Fredericktown, she married John W. Couch, and he survives.

Also surviving, are a daughter, Judith Schneider of Wood River; two sons, Robert and Earl Couch, both of Fosterburg; seven grand-children; five brothers, Dale Inman of Alton, Vester Inman of Bushnell, Fla., Joseph Inman of Wood River, Jerome Inman of Fredericktown, Mo., and Lindell Inman of Peoria; and a sister, Marie Hovies of Fredericktown, Mo.

Visitation is scheduled 4 to 9 p.m. today with services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home in Alton.

Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
