Taken to Annapolis, Maryland Hospital: October 20, 1864
Discharged from service: July 15, 1865 and returned to Bangor, Penabscot, Maine.

Contracted Tuberculosis and Chronic Dysentery while in prison and thus granted a full pension.

Pension file #173086 is noted from St. Paul, Minnesota Agency October 28, 1867. Pension is upgraded from $8.00 per month to $15.00 per month.

Cause of death: TB and complete failure of lungs.
