Obituary for Frank C. Tracy. Cumberland Times-News. Cumberland, Md. Fri., July 12, 2002.
Excerpt -- Frank C. Tracy, 84, of Cumberland, died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at the Allegany County Nursing Home. Born March 4, 1918, in Cumberland, a son of the late Edward and Hallie (Beatty) Tracy. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Muriel Tracy, July 22, 1998; one brother, Paul Tracy; and one sister, Eda Beck. Mr. Tracy was a U.S. Navy Seabees veteran of WW II. He was retrred from the B & O Railroad as a machinist. Surviving are two daughters, Marie Wagoner and husband Orvin, of Ft. Ashby, W.Va., and Elizabeth Haines, Frostburg; three sons, Larry Halverson-Tracy and wife Eunice, Falls Church, Va., Frank E. Tracy and wife Beverly, Detroit, Mich., and Lester C. Tracy and wife Sherri, Bakersfield, Calf.; 19 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Fort Christian Church on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
