Andrew Ellis Cox of Damascus passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at 3:00 PM at Colquitt FreeWill Baptist Church with Rev. Fletcher Sheffield and Rev. Ron Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow at Sheffield Cemetery.
Andrew attended Kimbrel Chapel Church of God and was a fifth grade student at Miller County Elementary School.
He is survived by his parents, Stacy and Teresa Cox of Damascus, GA; two brothers, Matthew Bennett Cox and Clayton Earl Cox both of Damascus, GA; maternal grandparents, Floyd and Helen Gowan of Bainbridge, GA; paternal grandparents, Gladys Cox and the late Kenneth Earl Cox of Baker County, GA; Maternal great grandmother Ann Weaver of Colquitt, GA; Aunt Sherry and Uncle Doug Young of Bainbridge, GA; Uncle James Ellis Gowan of Bainbridge, GA; Uncle Chuck Cox of Baker County, GA; cousin Garyn King of Bainbridge, GA; and lots of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
