Billie D. Bell of Graceville (Poplar Springs Community) went home to be with her Lord and her beloved husband on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 following an extended illness. She was 82.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Noma Baptist Church with Revs. Scott Wyatt and Jonathan Shepard officiating. Burial will follow in New Teamon Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Ms. Billie was born in Largo, FL on August 27, 1928 to the late David and Bonnie Brazeale Ellis.

A beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Ms. Billie was a member of Noma Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charley Zack Bell, brother David Ellis, and sister Betty Lee Kelly.

She is survived by her three sons, Lewis David Bell (Ramona), South Fulton, TN, Charles Michael Bell, Graceville, Johnny Franklin Bell (Brenda) Panama City Beach, FL; daughter Phyllis Dianne Hayes, Graceville; seven grandchildren, David Bell (Dorothy), Steven Bell (Erica), Martin TN, Jay Rick Hayes (Ilsa), Sneads, FL, Phyllis Russell (Kelley), Enterprise, Brandie J. Bell, Charlotte, NC, Roman Bell (Stefanie), Greensboro, NC, Joseph Zachary Bell, Panama City Beach, FL; fifteen great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
