Gregory Joel Miller 62 ofJoplin, passed away at 7;04 p.m. Thursday November 14, 2013 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St Louis Mo, following an illness.

Greg was born May 19, 1951 in California, to the late Joseph Miller and Georgia Miller Healy.

He worked in management in the restaurant and retail industry for several years and retired due to ill health. He loved animals nd the outdoors. He enjoyed talking on his C.B. radio and was a veteran of the United States Army. Greg loved the Lord and was a faithful member of College Heights Christian Church.

He married Vcky Vermillion in Joplin in 1982. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include his children, Christna Bosch and Joseph Townsend both of Washington, siblings, Kathy Stevens, Casey Healy and Patrick Healy. grandchildren, Anthony, Jayden,and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Gates, one brother, Bruce Miller, and step father, John Healy.

Services are planned for Wednesday at 11a.m. at College Heights Christian Church. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-7p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
