John H. Henahan, 68, of 4021 Walnut Drive, Cetronia, died Saturday at his home. He was the husband of Evelyn (German) Henahan.

He worked for Phoenix Forge Co., Catasauqua, for 15 years before retiring in 1985. Before that he worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp.

Born in Ashley, Luzerne County, he was a son of the late John and Margaret (Carr) Henahan.

He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Salisbury Township.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the board of directors of Calvary Council 528, Knights of Columbus, Allentown.

Surviving with his widow are a son, Joseph W. of Vineland, N.J.; two daughters, Mary, wife of George Berry of Denville, N.J., and Kathleen, wife of James Geisel of Wescosville; two sisters, Marion, wife of Joseph Redington of Allentown, and Eleanor, wife of John McGilloway of Philadelphia, and four grandchildren.

Services at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton St., Allentown, will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the church. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Monday.
