Cresaptown, MD - Diane Corinne (Cooper) Warren, 57, of Cresaptown, MD, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Devlin Manor Nursing Home. Born December 27, 1955, in Cumberland, MD,
Mrs. Warren was the daughter of Nyla "Nick" (Deffinbaugh) Cooper and the late Orvil "Ollie" Cooper.
She was also preceded in death by an infant grandson: Andrew Spencer, Jr.; a stepson: James Demonbrun Warren; and a father-in-law: Bernard Warren.
A graduate of Fort Hill High School, Class of 1973, Diane was a former employee of Caporale's Bakery and Zembower's Hardware Store. She was a member of Saint Ambrose Catholic Church where she served as Eucharistic Minister and volunteered at Bishop Walsh, the Girl Scouts, and at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church. Diane was a loving mother, wife, and an avid baker, whose family meant everything to her.
Diane is survived by her husband of 20 years: Greg Warren; and her daughters: Christyn Twigg and her significant other, Andrew Spencer, Sr., Cumberland, MD; and Kimberly Warren, Cresaptown, MD. She also leaves behind her brother: Gary Cooper; her grandchildren: Abby Crippen, Anthony, Alexander, and Gabrielle Spencer; special friends: Stephanie Kalbaugh, Debbie Easton, Johnna Flinn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law that she was very close to.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Monday, November 18, 2013, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M., to 8:00 P.M.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at 10:00 A.M.
Interment will be in Saint Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
