Judith Ann Sparaco Maynard, 73, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on November 23, 2012 at her home surrounded by loved ones. The daughter of the late Ralph and Julia Sparaco, Judith was born April 6, 1939 in New Haven, CT. She was raised in Old Saybrook, CT and a longtime resident of Westbrook, CT. Judith always found great joy in helping others, spending a number of years working with children at Daisy Ingraham Elementary School, volunteering as an E.M.T. with the Westbrook Ambulance Association. Moving to Port Charlotte, FL 20 years ago she continued her love for working with children at Neil Armstrong Elementary. Judith always felt truly blessed to have so many family and friends that loved her dearly. She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Gary, a daughter, Elaine; son, Gary Jr. and daughter-in-law, Jaime. At a later date a private burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Westbrook, CT. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her name to the Westbrook Ambulance Assoc., P.O. Box M, Westbrook, CT, 06498. Arrangements are with National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte, FL.
