Laura A. Cobb Tapscott is listed as being born in 1834 with no death date listed. She is buried on row 4, grave 25.
She died prior to the 1871 marriage of Monore to her sister.

She is listed as the wife of Monroe Tapscott, and the daughtter of Tandy Pleasant Cobbs and Martha Frances Sublett.
Mother is listed elsewhere as Martha D. Sublett. I do not know which is correct.

"Tandy P and Martha Cobbs moved from Virginia to Morgan County in the 1830's. Tandy was a wheelwright by trade. He was the son of William T Cobb who served in the Virginia Militia during the War of 1812. William T Cobb(s) was among the second set of deacons at Shoal Creek. Another son, Rev William T Cobb became a well-known Baptist minister in and around the Morgan County area. His wife, Azelia Cobbs Myers, and I W Myers wrote a long running church history column, "Bits of History," in the Decatur Daily newspape.r. Mrs. Myers' father, Charles Cobbs and her grandfather William T Cobbs, were long time Baptist ministers in Morgan County." Shoal Creek Cemetery Volume III
