Son of William Henry TOWNSEND and Renee WILCOX.

Brian Keith Townsend, age 27, of Clarks Chapel Road, Lenoir, died August 4, 2011. He was born September 24, 1983 in Caldwell County. He was a self-employed builder and was of the Baptist faith. He had rededicated his life to the Lord.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Gladys Wilcox; aunt, Peggy Minton; and close friend, Kevin Shatley, Jr.

In addition to his parents, survivors include fiancé, Crystal Perkins of Lenoir, stepmother, Kimberly Townsend; brother, William Clyde Townsend of Lenoir; one sister, Brenda Summerlin of Taylorsville; former wife, Larissa King Townsend; nieces and nephews, Stephen Hubner, Seth Hubner, Harley Townsend, Shelton Hubner, Dylan Walsh, Dustin Lefever and Destiny Summerlin; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was dearly loved by his fiancés children, Brianna, Taylor, Hailey and Isaiah.

Memorial services were held at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel.
