Wallace Washington Barber, Sr., 69, of Omega died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Carpenter Road Church of God. Bishop R Garner, Bishop C Blair and Bishop N Greer will officiate with burial to follow in Leila Methodist Church Cemetery in Omega.
Mr. Barber was born on December 18, 1940 in Tallahassee, Florida and was the son of Wright W. Barber and Ellis Wade Barber, both deceased. He was retired from the Omega Peanut Mill and a member of Omega Church of God.
