Staff Sgt. Joseph M. Blaugh, son of Mr. E.O. Blaugh of North Industry, recently reported at Miami Beach, Fla.,for re-assignment. Sgt. Blaugh, a gunner on a Flying Fortress, completed 30 missions in the European theater and also has been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal. He attended Canton Twp. High School and was employed by Republic Steel Corp. prior to entering service Jan. 20, 1943.
Staff Sgt. Blaugh entered service Jan. 20, 1943, and received training at Miami Beach, Fla., Lowry Field, Colo., and Laredo, Tex., graduating from gunnery school at the latter.
