Caribou - Mrs. Baselice S. Bernier, 85, wife of the late Dennis Bernier, died Sept. 4, 1982, at a Presque Isle hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Fort Kent, April 29, 1897, the daughter of Ehelaire and Philenise (Robichaud) Caron. She was a graduate of Fort Kent High School. Mrs. Bernier was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Caribou and was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the Caribou Senior Citizens.
She is survived by two sons, Medrick Plourde of Westlake Village, Calif., and Ronald Bernier of Houlton; two daughters, Mrs. Roy (Annette) Perry of Auburn, Mass., Mrs. Richard (Marilyn) Jackins of Suffield, Conn.; one brother, Joseph L. Caron of Caribou; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Levesque of Fort Kent; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Resevoir St., Caribou, 7-9 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7, in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Romeo St. Pierre, pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place in the St. Louis Cemetery, Fort Kent.
