Mrs. Rebecca, wife of Levi Coffelt departed this life at her home on Stoney Creek, October the 24th, 1896; aged 76 years, 9 months and 6 days.
Mrs. C. was a christian woman of exemplary character. She was a worthy member of the Lutheran church for many years. Highly esteemed by all who knew her as was evidenced by the large concourse of people that accompanied her remains to their last resting place. She leaves many dear ones to mourn her departure.
"A precious one from us is gone;
A voice we loved is stilled.
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled."
