collision on Route 130, near the
Calhoun road, between West Sa-
lem and Olney, about noon Friday.
Three other persons were injur-
ed, including Mr. Seals' grand-
daughter, Miss Linda Lodwig, 16,
also of West Salem. Her condition
is not considered serious.
Also injured in the other car,
which was apparently headed north
and met the Seals car coming
south, were Mr. and Mrs. Benley
Smith, 20 and 21, of near Peoria.
The injured persons were taken to
the Richland Memorial hospital in
Olney.
Funeral services for Mr. Seals
were held Sunday afternoon from
the King Funeral Home in West
Salem, with Rev. Vernon Clark
and Rev. Esco Robinson officiat-
ing. Interment was at the Morav-
ian Cemetery there.
