Allen passed away on November 15, 2013, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was born April 25, 1920 in Sennet, Oklahoma to Joseph F. and Lutisha (Huffine) Horton. Allen served his country during WWII in the Army Infantry. He worked for C.E. in Value Company as an assembler in the oil and gas industry. Allen was a longtime Prue resident and a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and five siblings.
Funeral services for Allen Isaac Horton, age 93, of Prue, Oklahoma were held Monday, November 18, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Prue, Oklahoma with Pastor Garry McDevitt officiating.
Interment was in the New Prue Cemetery under the direction of Powell Funeral Home. Musical selections for the service were "Amazing Grace" a congregational hymn and "I Can Only Imagine" sung by Richie Gourd and Betsy Trelenberg as pianist. (Powell Funeral Home)
