Clayton Harmon Harvey, 74, of Riverdale Road, died Tuesday at St. Clare's Hospital after being stricken at home. Born in Troy, Mr. Harvey lived in Schenectady most of his life. Until retiring, he was the head of sales for Polacsek Farms in Saratoga and Albany for many years.

Mr. Harvey was a member of Schenectady Masonic Lodge 1174 and the Albany Cyprus Lodge. He also was a member and past president of the Schenectady Jewish War Veterans. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Sybil Saslow Harvey; two daughters, Karen Marotta of Schenectady and Patricia Hudes of Fairlawn, N.J.; his mother, Shirley Smith Harvey of Glenville; a brother, Roger Harvey of Niskayuna; a sister, Beverly Packer of Niskayuna; and four grandchildren.

A service will be held this afternoon at Congregation Agudat Achim, 2117 Union St., Niskayuna. Burial will be in the Free Jewish Cemetery, Schermerhorn Street, Rotterdam.
