LINDSEY R. MILLER

Lindsey Russell Miller, age 84 of Knox City, Missouri, passed away Saturday night (January 23, 1993) in the Knox County Nursing Home in Edina, Missouri.

Born December 10, 1908 in Knox County, Missouri, he was the son of Everett and Gertrude Lindsey Miller. On June 26, 1927 in Novelty he married Gail Kennedy and she preceded him in death on July 14, 1978.

Mr. Miller was also preceded in death by his father in November of 1967; his mother in August of 1978; two sons, William Miller in October 1972 and on in infancy in 1938 and one brother, Robert Miller in August of 1977.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Doris Ammons of Knox City, Missouri; one brother, John N. Miller and his wife, Louise of Knox City, Missouri; five grandchildren, Steven Miller, DeVonna Miller and Jerry Ammons all of Knox City, Missouri; Harry L. Ammons of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Terry Ammons of Vina Del Mar, Chile; eight great-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Miller of LaBelle, Missouri and Lila Kennedy of Knox City, Missouri; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Miller was a life long resident of the Knox City community where he was engaged in farming. He attended the Knox City Christian Church.

Graveside services will be held 9:30 a.m., Tuesday morning (January 26, 1993) at the Knox City Cemetery at Knox City, Missouri. The Reverend Thomas Sullenger of Edina, Missouri will officiate the services.

Casket bearers will be Robert Hayes, James Hayes, Bob Binkley, Bill Hayes, Bill Eyman and Virgil C. McKenzie.

Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday (January 25, 1993) with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Homes Edina Chapel Edina, Missouri.

An expression of sympathy in memory of Mr. Miller may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the United Cerebral Palsy. Memorials may be left at or mailed to the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel, Box 1, Edina, Missouri 63537
