Ms. Deborah Ileen Wade, 48, of 3704 New Castle Road died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003. Deborah passed away at home and has now won the war against breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Wade. Deborah was a nurse at Kinston Bone & Joint Clinic for 15 years.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, at Howard-Carter & Stroud chapel with Allen Ham officiating. Interment will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include her mother, Genia Wade of Kinston; a sister, Teresa Millsaps of Seneca, S.C.; two nephews, Joshua W. Millsaps and Jonathan K. Millsaps of Seneca; a niece, Katherine Millsaps of Seneca; and a dear friend, Diane M. Spence of Winterville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7-9 p.m. and other times at the home of her mother, 671 Hugo Road, Kinston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hugo Volunteer Fire Department, 2941 Hugo Road, Grifton, N.C. 28530, Bill Howard treasurer; or to a charity of ones choice.
