Jackie Hyde, 72, Cadiz, died at 8:59 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, of natural causes.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home, Cadiz, with the Revs. Mike Boyd and Steve Hardy officiating.
Burial will be at Caldwell Blue Spring Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A native of Lyon County, he was born July 10, 1941, the son of the late Wallace Woodrow and Addie Lee Hyde.
He was retired from the Cadiz Water Department, where he worked for 25 years and was also in the grocery business for several years. He was a member of Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta McKinney Hyde; a son, Michael Hyde, Cadiz; a daughter, Missy Sowell, Cadiz; a brother, Bobbie Hyde, Cadiz; a sister, Nancy Fox, Princeton; and five grandchildren.
