Born on Thursday, June 24, 1920 in Barbour County, Alabama, she lived in the local area for the past 70 years. She retired from Lewis Bear Company after 13 years of dedicated service. Her church affiliation was Pace Assembly of God, Pace, Florida.
Preceded her in death are her parents, Harrison Jack Gulledge and Maggie Lenora Carter Gulledge; husband, William Henry Jones; daughter, Carolyn Elaine Shea; granddaughter, Angela Dawn Watson and siblings, Bunion Augusta Gulledge, Nina Josephine Thompkins, Carrie Blackmon , Pearl Gulledge, Carl Dudley Gulledge, Verlon Mulford and Hazel Rilzie Drulia.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Ronald E. Jones, Sr. and his wife, Susan; grandsons, Charles Tullius and wife, Teresa, Ronald E. Jones, Jr. and wife Theresa and Jeffrey S. Jones and wife Tonya; eight great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and very close friends, Violet Sunday, Joy Bowers and Art and Marsha Schultz.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home until services begin at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Ron Carnley officiating.
Interment will be private at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
Special thanks are extended to Emerald Coast Hospice staff and especially to Teresa and Charles Tullius who truly showed the love of Jesus in caring for Annie during the last four years of her life.
