Robert Lester "Bob" Hook, 92, of Emmett passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 in Boise, Idaho. He was born January 10, 1921 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to George and Stella Hook.
Bob moved a lot in his youth and ended up in Emmett, Idaho to be closer to his daughter Joan Grover. He served in WWII, farmed and was a security guard for many years. He met his wife, Evelyn, at a dance and life was set after that.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; daughter, Joan Grover; his son, David Hook and many others. He is survived by his granddaughters, Shawna (Joe) Allen and Lanette Grover, both of Nampa, Idaho, Celise (Dennis Jr.) Saxton and Amy Grover (Chris Benjamin), both of Midvale, Utah.
A viewing will be held Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. The funeral service will be Monday, November 18th at 3:00 p.m. at the Emmett LDS Stake Center (980 W. Central Rd.) Burial will follow at the Bramwell Cemetery.
