Mack M. Doty, 88, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013, in Abilene, Texas. Services will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 16, 2013, at the Anson Church of Christ, with Paul Vertz officiating. Burial will be at Fort Phantom Hill Cemetery directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, November 15, 2013 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Adams-Graham Funeral Home. There will also be a time to visit with the family from 1 p.m. till service time at the Church of Christ Fellowship hall.

Mack was born August 27, 1925 to Jay and Forrest (Hailey) Doty in Nugent, Texas. He married Ann Harvey January 1, 1945 in Nugent. He was a life-long resident of Nugent and a long time member of the Nugent Church of Christ.

He was a 1943 graduate of Lueders High School. He was a farmer and stockman.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Doty of Abilene; two sons, Jerry and his wife Lottie Doty of Abilene and Bob and his wife Darla Doty of Stephenville; eight grandsons and great-grandsons: Jay, Tim, Mark, Sterling, Ty, Will, Cooper and Kipton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The West Texas Rehabilitation Center, 4601 Hartford, Abilene, TX 79605.
