The daughter of the late Annie and Fendley Mitchell, she married SFC Walter James Bradley on July 3, 1964.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Elijah Mitchell, Willie Mitchell and Alfred Mitchell; and her sister, Wilcy Mae Campbell.
She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Angelia Bradley, Melissa Nicely, Catina Jones and Tiffany Bradley; one son, Nikia (Sheree) Bradley; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, James (Johnnie P.) Mitchell and Eugene (Audra) Mitchell; two sisters, Minnie Lou (Albert) Ridgeway and Bessie Ann (David) McBride; one aunt, Wilcy May Boykin; one sister in-law, Emily Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services were April 28 at First Assembly of God with the Rev. E.C. Russell officiating. Interment was in the St. James AME Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Mrs. Bradley's family members and classmates.
