Caledonia, OH, March 4 - Mrs. John A. Foos, 93 years of age, and one of the oldest residents of Marion County, died at her home, 4 1/2 miles west of this place, this morning at 2 o'clock. Death was due to the infirmities attendant upon old age.
Mrs. Foos was born January 26, 1822 in Fairfield County, and 3 years later was brought to this county, where she has since resided. She was married in 1845, her husband preceded her in death 2 years ago. To this union 6 children were born, one of whom survives. He is Andrew Foos, residing at home.
The funeral will be held at the late residence, Saturday afternoon, at 1 o'clock. Rev. George Crum, of Marion, pastor of the Universalist Church, officiating. Interment will be made in the Caledonia Cemetery.
