Jeff Rogers, age 62 of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 15th, at 2 p.m., at Gunsight Baptist Church with Rev. Rex Boggs and Emmitt Hindman officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 14th at Morehart Mortuary.
Jeff Lynn Rogers was born September 17, 1951 in Big Spring, Texas to parents, Bob Martin and Betty White Martin. Jeff moved to Breckenridge in the 1970s and was in partnership with Breckenridge Tank Trucks and later started his own business, Texas Tank Trucks. He owned and operated Texas Tank Trucks for over 30 years and dedicated his life to the Breckenridge community. He married Christina Gullatt on December 25, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jeff enjoyed racing, classic cars, Harley rides, traveling and flying airplanes. Jeff loved spending time with his family and friends and to him any reason was a good reason to get together. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Martin.
Jeffro is survived by his wife, Christina Rogers; his sons, Michael Rogers and wife Marla, and Shane Deshoutel and wife Taylor; his daughters, Rhonda Crawford and husband KC, and Savanna Oliver; his mother, Betty Martin; his sister, Debbie Boland and husband Joel; one brother, Robin Martin and wife Tina; and ten grandchildren, Zack, ShayLynn, Lexi, Michael, Kaden, Kodee, Ally, Joie, Mina and Kiffany.
