Augustus Huddleston, 79, husband of June Murphree Huddleston, died Monday, July 5, 2010.
Born in Mississippi, he was the son of the late Jessie Westbrook.
Mr. Huddleston was an electronics technician and attended Taylors First Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Huddleston is survived by two children, Roger Huddleston and wife Michele of Greenville and Robin Blackwell and husband Patrick of Greenville; three grandchildren, Megan Nicole Blackwell, Daniel Patrick Blackwell, Mitchell Domenick Blackwell; a brother Kenneth Huddleston of Georgia and a sister, Sybil of North Carolina. He was predeceased by several family members.
Memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Church Street Station, P O Box 780, New York, NY 10008-0780.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will be at the residence.
