Bernard Matthew Topham of Asquith, Saskatchewan was KIA at Passchendaele. He was the son of Walter and Maria Topham who came from Ripley, Derbyshire, England, to homestead southeast of Asquith. Bernard was working as a chauffeur when he enlisted at Saskatoon in 1916.
