Lydia was the last child born to John and Mary (nee Hudson) Craft/s. I can find nothing to document her death, but it appears that she lived her whole life in Roxbury. She had five half siblings - Thomas, John, Rebecca, Mary, and Joseph all born to Rebecca (nee Wheelock). Then she had four full siblings - Abigail born Mar. 6, 1670, Mehitable born Aug 31, 1673, Sarah born Feb. 17, 1675, and Ephraim born Aug 9, 1677 all born in Roxbury.

October 4, 1703 Sam Sewall, Esq. preformed the ceremony for Lydia and Thomas Bedoona who was a negro man of Roxbury. They attended the Roxbury Church and Lydia "owned the Covenant" May 1708. From my research I think this is when she had completed the requirements to join the church.

They had seven children all born in Roxbury and recorded in Boston Vital Records -

Elizabeth born Nov. 12, 1703 who married Edward Bilboa.

Benjamin born Jan. 18, 1705 and died Aug. 23, 1771 and is buried in Eliot Cemetery.

Joseph born Oct 28, 1708, married Mary Ann Duree May 5, 1747 in King's Chapel, and died in 1757.

Abigail born Mar 28 1711.

Lydia born Mar 6, 1715 and died May 29, 1755

Ebenezer born Aug 8, 1719, married Elizabeth (nee Quiner) Sep. 27, 1744 in King's Chapel.

Moses born Dec. 11, 1722.

Lydia was the granddaughter of Lieut Griffin Craft/s who came to the United States from England in 1630. He was one who was influential in the beginnings of the city of Roxbury which is now part of Boston.

Her date of death and place of burial is unknown.

Lydia was my sixth great grandmother.
