Mrs. Nora Cheadle, 528 Vernon Avenue, died at her home this morning after an illness of two weeks. She had been a resident of Beloit for the past 17 years. Mrs. Cheadle was a member of St. Jude's church, the Marion Guild, the Chicago Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad Women's club, and of the American War Mothers. Surviving are her husband Charles Cheadle; two sons, Charles and John of Beloit; four daughters, Mrs. Earl Fisher, Miss Evelyn Cheadle and Miss Helen Cheadle of Beloit, and Mrs. John Widell of Minneapolis, Minnesota; three brothers and two sisters living in Iowa and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the Cheadle home and 9 a.m. at St. Jude's Catholic Church. The Rev. A.G. Breines will officiate and burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be recited at the Cheadle home at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
