John Aardappel, a Fillmore resident since 1950, died yesterday at his home, 224 Forest street, after a short illness. He was born Dec. 1878, in Lafayette, Ind.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Donal Blackie at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Fillmore Presbyterian church, of which Mr. Aardappel was a member, and burial will be in Bardsdale cemetery. Skillin mortuary is making arrangements.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Carrie I. Aardappel; sons Dallas and Earl, Fillmore; daughter Mrs. S. H. Krediet, Lakewood; five granddaughters, four grandsons; brothers, Clarence, Tampa, Fla., and Charles, Armour, S.D.; sister, Mrs. Jennie Kosters, Grand Rapids, Mich., and several nieces and nephews.
