Horace E. Ryan, 82, and Floretta E. Ryan, 78, both of Lake Placid, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 22, 2013 and Wednesday, August 21, 2013 respectively. Horace was an Air Force Veteran and retired after 25 years with MNCPPC. Floretta retired after 22 years of service with the Agricultural Department at the University of Maryland. They are survived by their children Mary Lynn (Kevin) Warnick, Charlestown, WV; Barbara E. (Thomas) Ott, Ranson, WV; James E. (Tina) Ryan, Ranson, WV; Beverly E. (Donald) Engstrom, Hagerstown, MD; Pamela E. (Nicholas) Eddy, Leesburg, GA; Horace's sister Mary E. Carrick and Floretta's sister Geraldine W. Royer; 10 grandchildren including one yet to be born and 10 great grandchildren including one yet to be born. Preceded in death by son Henry "Ricky" E. Ryan and Horace's brother George H. Ryan.
Beloved husband and wife of 57 years will be laid to rest together on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 with services at 1:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, FL. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
