Pamela Jean Elliott, 53, of Bemidji, MN, died Monday, December 7, 2009 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Bemidji, MN with Rev. Dean Nelson officiating. Visitation will be from 8 – 10 pm on Friday, Dec, 11 at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji.

Pam was born June 18, 1956 in International Falls, MN, the daughter of George and Eleanor (Williamson) Edberg. She was raised and educated in International Falls, graduating from high school there in 1974.

She married Mark Elliott on August 10, 1974 in International Falls. She worked for Gibson's and Country Kitchen. In 1976, they moved to Bemidji where they lived and managed at the Edgewater Motel. In 1978, they moved to Hibbing. They lived in International Falls again from 1979 to 1985 where she worked at Stop-N-Shop and at her brother-in-laws dry cleaning service. In 1985, they moved back to Bemidji where she worked for Xen's Sporting Goods for several years and then was the Housekeeping and Maintenance Supervisor for the Edgewater Motel. In 1998, she chose to be a full time Grandma for her granddaughter Drew. In 2002, she became the office manger for her husband's accounting firm - Elliott accounting.

She was ecstatic with the arrival of her 2nd grandchild Maya in 2005 and then Easton in 2007. Pam was devoted to her family and gave as much love and time possible to caring for everyone who needed it. Whether it was her mother, mother-in-law, husband, children or sisters she supported them with her whole heart. Her grandchildren meant everything to her, most of her time and energy went to loving them in every way possible. She was the true pillar in her family. Pam is survived by her husband- Mark Elliott of Bemidji Daughter- Amy (Bryan Martin) Elliott of Bemidji Son- Rob (January) Elliott of Bemidji 3 grandchildren- Drew, Maya and Easton 6 sisters- Carolyn McDougall of International Falls, Sharon (Randy) Lamppa of Texarkana, Arkansas Lynda Dougherty of Portland, Oregon Debbie (Ron) MacKinnon of Thunder Bay, Ontario Cindy (Terry) Holter of Bemidji Sandy (Rocky) Gaetzke of Weyauwega, Wisconsin Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, 3 aunts and in-laws.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother – Jeffrey and grandson – Elijah Elliott.
