Kim Cloward Iverson, 49, our sweet wife, mother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully at her home in Huntsville in the early hours on November 12, 2013 after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.

Kim was born August 23, 1964 in Murray as the second child of Michael B. and Fern Nielson Cloward. Kim grew up in Granger, graduating from Granger High in 1982. She then attended Weber State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in Dental Hygiene.

After graduation, she met and married Vern Q. Iverson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Upon her husband's graduation, they settled in the Ogden Valley, where they started a dental practice and were welcomed with love by the community.

Kim was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in numerous, fulfilling callings in which she influenced all those around her. She was a true daughter of God, living her life as a true example of Christ's love and service. Even throughout her illness, she continued to serve others. She had a very deep and personal relationship with her Savior, which sustained her these past three years.

She taught part-time for many years at WSU, as well as playing a major role in the success of her husband's dental practice. She loved volunteering in many capacities within her community, with Valley Elementary being closest to her heart.

Kim was a perfectionist in all her endeavors, though she considered her greatest accomplishments her family. She enjoyed reading, running, traveling with her family, and was always planning their next adventure. She was the glue that held us together and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, community, and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Vern; daughter, Kali; sons, Elder Jarett M. Iverson (currently serving in the Rancho Cucamonga Mission) and Hunter and Braedon Iverson; parents, Michael and Fern Cloward; brothers, Paul (Karen) Cloward and Matt Cloward; and sister, Julie (Jeff) Leishman. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Adam.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Huntsville Stake Center Chapel, 6450 East 1900 North, Eden. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Boulevard, and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the stake center.
Interment: Huntsville Cemetery.
