JOHNSON, Mr. Edward Louis (Bubba) a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010. The memorial services will be held Friday, July 2, 2010 at 6:00 PM from Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held at 1:00 PM in Good Hope Cemetery, Saint Stephen, AL.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife of 51 years, Mamie A. Johnson; two sons and one daughter, Curtis (Reyes) Johnson, Abilene, TX, Ed Juana J. Newton, McIntosh, AL and Eduardo F. Johnson, San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Willetta Lovejoy and Thelma Johnson; two brothers, George (Maggie) Johnson and Bernard Johnson; one sister-in-law, Mayola Duncan Johnson; three brothers-in-law, Dale Atchison, John Henry Smith, both of Saint Stephen, AL and Richmond Smith, San Antonio, TX; two devoted cousins, James Nixon and Frances Pleasant; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
