Obituary -Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Sardis Baptist Church for Gerald "Fuzzy" Allison, 47, of Gainesville. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. The Rev. James Kanady will officiate. Interment will be in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. A lifetime resident of Hall County, Mr. Allison was the son of William Vernon and Dorothy Hughes Allison. He was self-employed as a mechanic. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Vernon and Dorothy Allison of Gainesville, he is survived by his daughters, Wendi Allison and Hannah Allison, both of Gainesville; grandson, Camdin Crawford of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Tom Hiers of Gainesville; brother, Michael Allison of Gainesville; nephews, Kevin Allison of Cumming, Dustin Allison, Tyler fliers, both of Gainesville; great-nephews, Gage Allison, of Cumming, and Mason Allison of Gainesville.
