Flying Officer - Royal Australian Air Force 406640
Posting on Death: 1 Operational Training Unit East Sale Vic. He died along with three other crew members when their Aircraft crashed at Mt Tawonga near Eskdale Vic, they were on a night training flight originating from Mount Gambier.
The other crew were,
F/O Don Flavel (pilot)
F/O Robert Clayton (navigator)
F/O Fred Wallis
Flt. Sgt. L. J. Sims (radio operator).
All are buried in the Sale War Cemetery.

He is commemorated on the Roll of Honour in Perth WA, also his name is located at panel 112 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial.
