HENLAWSON, W.Va. — Clara Dingess, 93, a resident of Trinity Healthcare of Logan, formerly of Logan, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Fri., Nov. 8, 2013, following an extended illness.
Born January 7, 1920, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Simeon and Belle Neal. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Cush Dingess; one precious, loving son, Franklin "Perky" Dingess; three sisters, Grace Dingess, Hazel Gartin and Shirley Martin, and three brothers, Shelby, John and Roy Neal.
Mrs. Dingess was a homemaker and retired from Logan General Hospital.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Freda (Fred) Parmesano of Belews Creek, N.C.; one daughter-in-law, Connie Dingess of Chapmanville; grandsons, Carlos, Bobby and Billy Dingess and Fred and Jeff Parmesano; 10 great-grandchildren, and brothers-in-law, Harry Dingess and John Dingess Jr.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tues., Nov. 12, at James Funeral Home with Pastor Carlos Dingess officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Freda would like to thank the nurses, nurse's aides and staff at Trinity Healthcare for all the love and care they have shown to my mother over these last years of her life. Thanks also for all the support you have given me.
