Mrs. Henry P. Meyer, 68, of route 2, Kiel, died Saturday at St. Nicholas Hospital.
The former Margaret A. Wagner was born July 18, 1912, in Cleveland, a daughter of Henry and Mary Schmidt Wagner. She attended St. Wendel Catholic School, Cleveland. She married Henry P. Meyer August 30, 1933, at St. Wendel Catholic church, Cleveland. They farmed in rural Kiel.
She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, was a member of the church Choir and was the church organist for 27 years. She was a past president and member of the Christian Mother's Society. She was also a member of the GUG Germania Society and the Catholic Knights.
Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Mary Ann) Menne of Green Bay, Mrs. Richard (Agnes) Mayer of Kiel and sister Lucy Ann Meyer of Kaukauna; two sons, Charles of Mount Prospect, Ill., and Joseph of route 2, Kiel; 16 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred Behring of Kohler, Mrs. Alfred Herr of Sheboygan and Mrs. Walter Meyer of Route 2, Kiel; and one brother, Lawrence Wagner of Sheboygan. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
A funeral Mass will be offered at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. The Rev. Francis Kerscher, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
