Dorothy Louise Wagner, 85, formerly of West Paris, Maine died Wednesday, April 27, at d'Youville Pavilion.
She was born on the Hambleton homestead in Epping, N.D., on March 10, 1920, the daughter of Robert and Margaret Marks Hambleton. She graduated from Epping High School in 1939 and attended Minot State Teachers College in Minot, N.D.
She married Ardale "Bud" Wagner in October of 1939. She was a homemaker all of her life.
She was a longtime member of the Epping Catholic Alter Society, the Epping Band Mothers, the Epping Homemaker's Club and had been a 4-H leader for a number of years.
She and her husband lived in Dewey, Ariz. for 22 years, before moving to West Paris.
She is survived by two daughters, Faye Whitney and her husband, Robert, of Topsham, and June Forsburg of Payson, Ariz.; a son, Miles Wagner and his wife, Susan, of Honolulu, Hawaii; five grandchildren, Guy Wagner, Shelly Bennett, Julie Fullerton, Rick Forsburg and Richard Whitney; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Paul Hambleton of Williston, N.D.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband on Nov. 27, 2000; and two sisters, Blanch Ross and Evelyn Baker.
