AMERICAN FORK -- Funeral services for William S. Worthen, 74, who died Monday at American Fork, will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the First ward LDS chapel with Leonard Howes, bishop, presiding.

He was born Feb. 17. 1875 at Mt. Carmel, Kane county, son of William H. and Nancy Keel Worthen. He was married May 4, 1898 in the Manti temple to Magdalene Westenskow of Manti. She died in 1932. He later married Katherine Thompson.

He is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Zenda Hicks and Verl H. Worthen, Ogden; Mrs. Revella Bale, Springville: Mrs. Vada Law, Orangeville: 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; four stepchildren, Mrs. Christy Everett, Shelby Thompson, Bale Thompson and Jesse Thompson of Price, seven brothers and sisters, Mrs. Sarah Bunyon, Mrs. Rhoda Olsen, Mrs. Brittana Aldridge, Mrs. Maud Thompson, Joseph Worthen and Thomas Worthen, all of Ferrin, and Mrs. Kate Jensen of Salt Lake City.

Friends and relatives may call at the family residence Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
aa funeral services will be held at Ferron Saturday at 1 p.m. with Richard Behling, bishop presiding. Burial will be in the Ferron Cemetery.
