Gary Dale Lacy, 65, Nortonville, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at his home following a long illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bandy Funeral Home, Nortonville, with Jerry Bean and Ron Henn officiating.
Burial will follow at Stanley Cemetery, White Plains.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service Tuesday at the funeral home.
A native of Hopkinsville, he was born Aug. 24, 1948, the son of the late Edwin Brandon and Lora Elizabeth Bloodworth Lacy.
He retired as a correctional officer from the Kentucky State Penitentiary, Eddyville, and was a member of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Crick Lacy; a sister, Mrs. Dudley (Fairy) Hardy, Cerulean; and three brothers, Prentuth (Linda) Lacy, Hartford, Charles (Shirley) Lacy, St. Charles, and Ray (Frances) Hight, White Plains.
